Job Description We are looking to hire a disciplined and highly organized Senior Project Manager as part of our project delivery team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will work on prestigious projects and closely work with developers, quality engineers, business analysts, trainers, and other core team members to achieve a high-level of performance and quality in delivering projects, on time and on budget to enable BEM Systems to provide exceptional business value to our government customers. Your business acumen, people management, project planning and execution skills will be critical to project success. The successful candidate will play a lead role as an Agile-project manager for a suite of SaaS solutions working with state Departments of Transportation and other agencies involved with managing property within a ROW. The senior PM will be tasked with managing or overseeing the management of major system upgrades for existing customers or deployments for new customers. These projects range in size from $300,000 to over $1,000,000 and are firm fixed price. Key Responsibilities Manage 2-4 enterprise projects, developing and maintaining project management plans. Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value. Organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports. Manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects. Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members. Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices. Communicate and collaborate with customers as needed regarding project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting, and interfacing with client project sponsors. Identify, prepare, and negotiate project change orders with clients. Provide input into strategic planning and the system development roadmap. Develop a project management methodology that is suitable for planning and managing the book of business to achieve the project goals within designated project constraints. Grasp and clearly convey customer business objectives across teams to create a statement of work for the application delivery team. Meet or exceed profitability targets by dynamically prioritizing project resources and implementing process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency. Manage project materials ensuring visibility of milestones, schedule, tasks, issues, risk, action items, and all project documentation. Identify, scope, and estimate additional business opportunities with current customers. Work closely with customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction. Requirements B.S. or B.A. degree in Computer Science, Organizational Management, Engineering. 8+ years of experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with SaaS enterprise-level application 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master. PMP-ACP certification required, CSM preferred. Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with 5- 10 team members including Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel. Experience managing B2B software solution projects, budget over $1M. Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment. Proven record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies. Travel up to 20% annually.
