Sterile Processing Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our medical facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sterility, and proper packaging of medical instruments and equipment. Responsibilities - Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment - Assemble instrument trays following established procedures - Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality - Maintain accurate records of processed items - Monitor and operate sterilization equipment - Assist in inventory management of supplies - Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Requirements - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology - Familiarity with medical terminology - Experience in sterile processing techniques is preferred - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician is a plus Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $43.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Experience: Sterile processing: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
