Clinical Dietitian
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their nutritional needs and develop personalized diet plans
- Provide health coaching and education to patients on proper nutrition and dietary habits
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and treatment plans
- Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to diet plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in clinical nutrition
- Provide guidance on tube feeding and other specialized nutrition interventions
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify nutritional deficiencies or imbalances
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and its relationship to nutrition
- Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic procedures
- Experience with tube feeding, alimentation, and other specialized diets
The Clinical Dietitian plays a crucial role in promoting optimal health and well-being through nutrition. By assessing patients' nutritional needs, providing education, and developing personalized diet plans, the Clinical Dietitian helps individuals achieve their health goals. The successful candidate will have a strong background in patient assessment, health coaching, physiology knowledge, tube feeding, alimentation, and diagnostic evaluation.
