Construction Project Manager
*Job description:*
Our company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in structural engineering, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems, and interior construction, along with excellent time management and interpersonal skills. This role is responsible for coordinating all phases of construction projects to ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
*Responsibilities:*
* Determine and define project scope, technical requirements, and deliverables, with particular attention to structural, MEP, and interior construction components
* Review and coordinate structural drawings, MEP plans (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), and interior fit-out drawings
* Obtain and manage all necessary permits, approvals, inspections, and regulatory prerequisites
* Monitor and control project costs to meet approved budgets
* Provide direction and oversight for contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
* Develop, manage, and update construction schedules covering structural work, MEP installations, and interior finishes
* Issue regular progress updates regarding schedule, cost, quality, and risk
* Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
* Select, manage, and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers, including structural, MEP, and interior trades
* Coordinate efforts across the entire project team, including architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, interior designers, inspectors, and subcontractors
* Conduct site visits to monitor construction quality, resolve technical issues, and ensure proper execution of design intent
*Qualifications *
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
* At least 3 years of relevant work experience and background are required.
* Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution
* Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution
* Strong ability to read and interpret structural, MEP, and architectural/interior drawings
* Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
