Substitute Classroom FacilitatorOur MissionConnect all learners with the expert teachers they deserve.Who We SeekProximity Learning seeks a Virtual Classroom Facilitator that has a strong classroompresence, with the ability to manage a classroom in order to foster a positive learningenvironment to set students up for success in a digital classroom. The facilitator will becomfortable using a variety of technology platforms to support student learning. Theywill also collaborate with the Proximity teacher to guarantee student success bydeveloping a strong working relationship.Responsibilities• Establish strong classroom systems and procedures to maximize studentlearning time• Set clear classroom rules and expectations so all students can thrive in a digitallearning environment• Manage student behavior in order to foster a positive learning environment• Communicate regularly with the Proximity Learning teacher to build acollaborative partnership• Be the liaison of grade input from Proximity's Canvas LMS to the district gradingsystem• Troubleshoot basic technology support for students as needed• Manage updates to student enrollments via PLI Connect• Communicate proactively with parents and school admin regarding studentlearning in the Proximity classroom• Communicate initial login information to students at the start of the programRequirements• Employee of district, including access to district email address, gradebook, andSIS• Completion of Proximity Learning's Facilitator Training and Orientation prior tocourse beginning• Experience managing a classroom of students• Login to Zoom on own device during class sessionsPrivacy InformationWhen you apply for a position with ESS, we collect personal information such as:Contact details (name, email, phone, address)Application materials (resume, work history, education, references)Information you choose to provide during the hiring process (interviews, assessments, background checks, as permitted by law)We use this information to:Evaluate your candidacy and qualificationsConduct interviews and background checksManage our recruitment and hiring processesComply with applicable legal obligationsWe do not sell or share applicant personal information.
