As part of the DFC Manufacturing Group, we offer stability, growth, and the support of a broader manufacturing network.About the RoleThis position focuses on processing steel rule-cutting, bending, notching, and preparing rule segments used to build precision cutting dies. If you enjoy machine work that requires accuracy, tight tolerances, and consistency, this is a strong fit.What You'll DoSet up and operate rule bending/processing equipment according to job tickets and CAD layoutsLoad steel rule, run bending/notching operations, and verify accuracy before releaseMeasure and inspect output to ensure bends, angles, and lengths meet specificationsAdjust settings and troubleshoot process issues to maintain quality and minimize wasteMaintain logs, counts, and quality checks in the systemPerform routine preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean and readyWork closely with Die Makers and production teammates to prioritize and meet schedulesSupport cross-training and assist on other equipment when neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area (PPE required)QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior machine operation experience in manufacturing preferred (die making/printing/packaging/converting is a plus)Ability to read job tickets, CAD images, and basic blueprintsMechanical aptitude with strong attention to detailBasic math and measuring skills (tape measure, tolerances, counts)Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with deadlinesDependable, team-oriented, and committed to quality and safetyWork Environment / Physical RequirementsManufacturing floor environment; PPE requiredStanding/walking/bending and repetitive motionsAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbsAbility to work safely around sharp materials, moving equipment, and power machinery
