Mastercam Programmer

Belding Tool and Machine is looking to add an experienced Mastercam programmer to our team. Pay will be determined by experience and skill. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria: 10+ years Mastercam programming experience Able to read and analyze blueprints Able to estimate cycle times based off blue prints Emphasize safety and cleanliness in all aspects of the job Work in a team environment Pluses: Experience with Haas Experience with Mazak Knowledge of grind Lathe experience Background in Aerospace and Defense machining Experience in AS9100D and ISO9001 environment Summary As a Mastercam Programmer, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations, reporting directly to the Shop Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to create precise CNC programs using Mastercam, ensuring adherence to AS9100D and ISO 9001 standards. With core skills in blueprint reading and machining, along with premium expertise in CAM programming and GD&T, you will optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Your relevant knowledge of tools and precision measuring instruments will further enhance our production capabilities, making you a vital asset to our team. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications. Utilize Mastercam and CAM programming techniques to create precise CNC programs. Ensure compliance with AS9100D and ISO 9001 standards throughout the manufacturing process. On occasion, Operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, while adhering to safety and quality protocols. Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
