Pol-Tex Maintenance Helper

Overview: Pol-Tex a division of Poly-America, L.P., a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking a Maintenance Helper at its Mont Belvieu, Texas location. A successful candidate must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities: Dismantling devices to gain access to remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices. Examining form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. Inspecting used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Adjusting functioning parts of devices and control instruments. Repairing or replacing defective parts. Installing special functional and structural parts in devices. Testing the performance of devices. Lubricating and cleaning parts. Qualifications: Must be able to work rotating night shifts Must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills Additional duties as become necessary and/or are assigned by management. 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience preferred Pol-Tex offers competitive wages plus a comprehensive benefits package including Medical/Dental, paid vacations and holidays, 401(K), and more.
