Duties: - Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and professional manner - Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently - Delivering orders to tables in a timely manner - Providing excellent customer service and addressing any guest concerns or inquiries - Operating a cash register and handling cash transactions - Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery - Bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area - Assisting with sanitizing tables, chairs, and other high-touch surfaces - Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations - Promoting a positive dining experience for guests Requirements: - Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry preferred, but not required - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills - Ability to operate a cash register and handle money accurately - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet customer needs - Attention to detail for order accuracy and cleanliness standards Please note that this is a general job description for a server position.
