Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist Location: Lafayette, CO 80026 Contract: 3 months (possible extension) Shift: 8 PM – 6: 30 AM | Nights Pay Rate: $50/hr. on W2 Note: Best stipends for Travelers! Locals are welcome to apply! Summary: The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of diagnostic testing procedures to support patient care, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely reporting. Responsibilities: · Perform routine and specialized testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, and blood bank. · Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment. · Ensure accurate, timely documentation and reporting of results according to established protocols. · Perform quality control, calibration, and participate in ongoing quality assurance activities. · Assist with training/orientation of new staff as needed. Required Certifications & Experience: · Minimum 1 year experience as MT, CLS, or MLS · MT, CLS, or MLS (ASCP) Certification · BLS (AHA) · Bachelor’s Degree
