Marine Electrician

Marine ElectricianThe Marine Electrician will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing the specific duties below:Perform installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of marine electrical (AC/DC) and electronic systems for fishing vesselsTroubleshoot problems and provide recommendations for problem resolutionProvide estimates for repairs, replacement, and installation according to problem diagnosis and repair/replacement recommendationsOrder parts and do follow-up to maintenanceCommunicate with manufacturer's as technical resourcesPerform routine and annual maintenance on boat electrical and electronic systemsStrong working knowledge of major brand marine electrical and electronic systems; installation, maintenance, repair and replacementComplete all tasks safelyReport all hazards, accidents, injuries or environmental excursions immediately to your supervisor or a member of the management teamAll other duties assignedMinimum requirements:High school diploma or trade school certification preferredExcellent work ethicAbility to work overtime, weekends and rotating shifts as requiredAbility to travel as requiredAbility to climb ladders, lift and carry heavy objects
