Network Program Manager
* Must have network and infrastructure background:
* Be conversant in how a network and infrastructure are delivered:? Understand circuit order (non-DIA) processing with such vendors as ATT, Comcast, and others.
* Understand what a DMARC is and what a last mile provider (LMP) is and how this infrastructure works.
* Understand delivery and setup of a new circuit and how it is connected and turned up.
* Understand what a router is and where it is placed in the infrastructure.
* Understand basic network equipment and its uses (i.e., core and UA switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, WAPs, servers) and how it all fits in the infrastructure.
* Understand network diagrams and the flow of connections.
* Understand basic Datacenter (DC) concepts: How DC operations work (general)o Fiber/copper connections
* Equipment racks (e.g., whether there is enough space in a rack, whether new racks will be needed)
* Power requirements (e.g., adding new equipment, whether there is enough power)o HVAC (e.g., knowing the questions to ask to support new equipment)
* Be a United States Citizen and must be able to pass a background check.
* Expertise in Microsoft Project
* The candidate must have excellent client interfacing skills, vendor/third-party resources, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management.
* They should have experience operating with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours (ability to work varied hours and weekends a must) to successfully interact and communicate on a global level) if needed.
* 8+ years managing projects.
* Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plus.
* Must have strong analytical skills. Continuous process improvement mindset.
* Experience with managing program/project financial estimates and ongoing financial forecasting of expenditures.
* Industry Certifications in PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master) are strongly preferred, technical certifications such as CCNA are a plus
