We support mid-market and enterprise customers with secure, scalable, and compliant IT environments.We are looking for a highly skilled IT Support Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview to support internal operations and client environments.Role OverviewThis is a hands-on, onsite role based in our Boston Seaport office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft identity, endpoint security, and compliance solutions.You will work closely with leadership, security teams, and client stakeholders to maintain a secure and modern Microsoft 365 environment.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentity & Access Management (Microsoft Entra ID)Design and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) tenant environmentsConfigure and manage:Conditional Access PoliciesMulti-Factor Authentication (MFA)Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)Privileged Identity Management (PIM)Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and federationManage hybrid identity environments (Entra Connect / AD Sync)Troubleshoot authentication and access issuesEndpoint & Security (Microsoft Defender)Deploy and manage:Microsoft Defender for EndpointDefender for Office 365Defender for IdentityDefender for Cloud AppsConfigure security baselines and policiesMonitor alerts and respond to incidentsImplement endpoint hardening and threat remediationWork with vulnerability management workflowsCompliance & Data Governance (Microsoft Purview)Configure:Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policiesInformation Protection & Sensitivity LabelsInsider Risk ManagementeDiscovery (Standard & Premium)Support regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, etc.)Manage retention policies and data lifecycle controlsIT Operations & SupportProvide L2/L3 support for Microsoft 365 and Azure environmentsSupport device onboarding (Intune/MDM)Maintain documentation and architecture diagramsAssist in internal IT projects and customer deploymentsProvide executive-level user support when requiredRequired Qualifications5+ years of IT Support / Systems Engineering experience3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Security & Identity experienceStrong expertise in:Microsoft Entra IDMicrosoft Defender suiteMicrosoft PurviewExperience with:Azure AD Connect / Hybrid identityIntune & Endpoint ManagementPowerShell scriptingDeep understanding of Zero Trust architectureExperience supporting 100–1000+ endpoint environmentsStrong troubleshooting and documentation skillsPreferred QualificationsMicrosoft Certifications such as:SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator)SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst)SC-400 (Information Protection Administrator)AZ-104 / AZ-500Experience in consulting or MSP environmentsExposure to compliance auditsKnowledge of Freshservice / ServiceNow ticketing systemsWork LocationThis is a full-time onsite role at:Maitsys Inc.1 Marina Park DriveBoston Seaport, MA 02210What We OfferCompetitive salaryPerformance bonus structureOpportunity to work on enterprise-grade Microsoft security environmentsCareer growth into Security Architect or Cloud Security Lead rolesDirect exposure to executive leadership and strategic projects
