Intelligence Consulting Enterprise Solutions, INC. is looking for a Radar Sensor Systems Engineer.DescriptionJoin ICES on a new contract impacting national security as a Radar Sensor Systems Engineer. These positions are located in Chantilly, Virginia. All positions require an active/current TS/SCI security clearance and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.As a Radar Sensor Systems Engineer, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:DutiesSensor modeling including development and analysis of payload performance tablesAlgorithm assessment to quantify product performance for desired mission applicationsBaseline assessment of system performance to support sensor initializationRegression analysis and evaluations of delivered operational capabilitiesDevelopment, preparation, and execution of comprehensive test & evaluation plans, procedures and schedules which verify and validate enterprise capabilities, system requirements, performance, and operabilityReadiness for system integration, test, evaluation, and transition activitiesAnalysis and performance requirement verification of new capabilities and emerging systemsRequired Qualifications:PhD with at least 5 – 7 years of experience; Master’s Degree with at least 8 – 10 years of experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 – 12 years of experience.Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain/maintain PolygraphExperience working with GEOINT Radar imaging systems, sensors, and/or dataExperience in Radar Image Science (Phenomenology, Sensor technology, Image Processing, Product Quality)Understanding and application of image quality standards, scales, metrics, and image quality equationsApplied knowledge of sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processesUnderstanding of the systems engineering lifecycle to include independent testing and data verificationExcellent communicatorProven team leader with experience mentoring a team while delivering individual technical responsibilitiesExperienced problem solver performing in a dynamic work environmentDesired Qualifications: Degree in Image Science, Electrical Engineering, or PhysicsUnderstanding of the GEOINT enterprise TCPED processExperience working in a DoD or IC operational environmentExperience working on Product Initialization teamsExperience developing engineering code (e.g. C, Python, Matlab, IDL) to solve hard problems and create processes for repeatable results
