Basic Function
The Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the marketing team through social media management, developing digital content and promotional materials, collaboratively planning and executing events, and handling a broad range of administrative tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate the development and execution of all promotional events
Manage the promotional event supply inventory
Assist in managing all Maryland Science Center social media accounts through content creation, management, and analysis
Maintain email databases and assist in developing targeted email campaigns
Help maintain consistent communication across digital channels
Assist with monthly updates to the Maryland Science Center website

Adobe Suite (mainly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro)
Social Media content management (Meta platforms, TikTok, YouTube)
DSLR camera basics
