This DevSecOps Manager will be responsible for leading a team that builds and maintains secure, scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical systems and integrate security into all phases of the software development lifecycle for the Axiom Space Commercial Space program in Houston, TX. Candidates with a solid foundation in container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and security compliance, particularly within regulated or high-security environments. are encouraged to apply.Business FormationKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the organization's DevSecOps strategy and roadmapLead, mentor, and manage DevSecOps engineers and cross-functional teamsFoster a culture of security, automation, and continuous improvementPartner with engineering, security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to align objectivesDefine team goals, KPIs, and performance metricsIntegrate security controls throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelinesAutomate security testing, code scanning, and compliance validationImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security best practicesStandardize deployment and release management processesOversee application security testing, including Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Container and image scanning, and secrets detectionCoordinate vulnerability remediation with development teamsManage security risk assessments and threat modeling activitiesCommunicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadershipImplementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecyclePerform additional job duties as assignedLabor & Employment LawQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
