Coverage Dates: 2 weeks in December (flexible dates): 12/1/24 (7pm) - 12/9/24 (7am) 12/9/24 (7am) - 12/16/24 (7am) 12/23/24 (7am) - 12/30/24 (7am) January 2025: 1/13/25 (7am) - 1/20/25 (7am) Job Details: Call Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (6am-6am) Patient Demographics: 100% adult/geriatric Setting: Emergency Department & Inpatient Only Average Surgeries: 2-5 per weekend Average Patients Per Day: 15-20 Support Staff: 4 Urologists in the group; no other Urologists present during locum assignment Onsite Services: Lab and X-ray facilities Documentation System: Epic EMR Trauma Designation: Level II Required Procedures: Ureteroscopy Laparoscopic surgeries General Urology Trauma-related procedures Nephrectomy & Partial Nephrectomy with Intraoperative Ultrasound Incontinence procedures Job Requirements: Board Certified in Urology ??? Required Active South Carolina medical license ??? Required 100% clean background ??? No exceptions No new graduates; must have significant experience BLS/ACLS certification ??? Preferred Must submit one professional reference with application Compensation and Benefits: Reimbursement for travel expenses: flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at the IRS standard rate Competitive market rates Credentialing Process: Estimated 60-day timeframe to complete credentialing.
