Job Title: Benefits Administration SpecialistLocation: Indiana, PA (on-site)Type: Full-Time, PermanentBenefits: 100% Employer Paid Medical Benefits, 401K, and more!For more than 85 years, our client has become a recognized leader in property & casualty insurance, employee benefits programs, and an employer of choice.They are looking for an Benefits Administration Specialist to join their Third-Party Administration (TPA) team in the Indiana, PA area. This position provides timely and effective service to their Third-Party Administration clients and involves administering healthcare continuation under COBRA and various retirement arrangements, processing claims for reimbursement plans and performing healthcare enrollment maintenance.Responsibilities:Acquires and maintains sufficient knowledge of governing laws and regulations to ensure administration is compliant and responses to inquiries are appropriate and accurate.Maintains an organized filing system and a schedule for completing routine tasks and functions in the appropriate time frames; adapts as needed to accommodate non-routine tasks.Analyzes and processes information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Drafts correspondence and responds promptly and professionally as they interact with other departments, clients, and participants being serviced.Follows established procedures for processing and complies with company privacy and security policies and procedures related to the handling of protected and confidential information.Required Skills & Abilities:Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.2+ years of relevant office experience is required.Secondary education prefferedStrong written and verbal communication skills.Reasoning and analytical skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to remain highly organized, prioritize and multi-task, solid time management skills.Initiative and strong work ethic with the ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision.Professionalism (flexible in dealing with change; friendly, respectful, and cooperative when dealing with all internal and external contacts; and the ability to maintain composure even under difficult or stressful circumstances).Experience & Education:Post-secondary education and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant office experience is preferredOur clients' employees enjoy competitive pay, generous paid time off, andan outstanding benefits package!
