DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Cardiology team in Texarkana, TX. This role focuses on providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in a clinic-based setting, working collaboratively with cardiologists and the broader care team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiology or a related specialty and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide outpatient evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular conditionsConduct new patient consultations and follow-up visitsManage chronic cardiac conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery diseaseOrder and interpret diagnostic testing including labs, EKGs, and cardiac imagingEducate patients on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications for heart healthCollaborate closely with cardiologists and clinic staff to ensure coordinated patient careMaintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMRQualificationsCurrent Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantNational certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)Previous cardiology, internal medicine, or acute care experience preferredStrong clinical assessment and communication skillsAbility to work independently in an outpatient clinic settingSchedule & CompensationMonday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMOutpatient only – no nights, weekends, or callCompetitive compensation based on experienceComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, PTO, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
