Shift Hours: 4:00pm-1:30am***** (Please note: The Quality Control Inspection position" is not a Quality Assurance role")Quality Control Inspector Job OverviewPerforms a variety Quality Control related tasks. Verifies components are produced to print and relate the results to appropriate personal. Prepares various paperwork. Inspect various inspection gages issued to production.Quality Control Inspector Knowledge, Skills And Abilities RequiredPerform in-progress inspection for all machined components.Review operator inspection reports and traveler information.Submit reports to shift supervisor and communicate the results to machine operators.Perform First Article Inspection for new parts (set ups)Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, control standards.Detail knowledge of inspection techniques, tools and methodologyWorking knowledge of GD&TAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsMust possess the ability to use a wide variety of measuring devices to perform dimensional inspection of components produced.Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques.Medical and Aerospace manufacturing experience with emphasis on FAIRFollow the quality standards of ISO-13485Experience using measuring toolsMinimum Job Requirements & Education*Completed AAS degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
