This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated fund financing transactions in the market, alongside leading practitioners in a fast-growing and strategically important practice area.The RoleAssociates in the Fund Finance group are involved in a wide range of complex financing transactions supporting private equity sponsors, asset managers, banks, and alternative lenders. The practice handles both sponsor-side and lender-side representations and is known for advising on novel and market-shaping structures.Typical matters include:Subscription credit facilities and hybrid facilitiesNAV-based financings and asset-level facilitiesSyndicated and bilateral fund finance transactionsLeverage finance and acquisition financings involving private fundsTransactions intersecting with fund formation, CLOs, and asset-based lendingAssociates can expect meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and exposure to the full lifecycle of transactions, from structuring and drafting through negotiation and closing.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:3-6+ years of law firm experience in fund finance or closely related practices, including syndicated lending, commercial lending, leverage finance, fund formation, CLOs, asset-based lending, NAV financings, or acquisition financingsStrong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent academic credentialsExperience working directly with clients and managing transaction components with increasing autonomyPrior direct fund finance experience is preferred, but candidates with strong transferable finance backgrounds and a demonstrated interest in the space will also be considered.Why This PlatformWork closely with preeminent banks, asset managers, and institutional lendersHandle cutting-edge transactions in one of the most active fund finance practices in the marketBenefit from a collaborative environment with strong mentorship and growth opportunitiesGain exposure to high-profile, repeat clients and complex deal structuresCompensationThe anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $260,000 to $420,000, depending on factors including years of relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
