Lead Full Stack Sitecore Developer
Overview:
In this role you will lead the development and enhancement of back-end systems powering a global digital experience platform, with a focus on Sitecore XM/XP, .NET, and Next.js. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions for marketing sites, drive headless delivery patterns, and support CI/CD and containerized deployments. You will apply AI coding tools to improve efficiency while maintaining engineering rigor. This is a senior, delivery-oriented position shaping enterprise Sitecore implementations at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Build, extend and maintain back-end solutions for the digital experience platform and global sites
- Lead Sitecore XM implementations including customization, integration and troubleshooting
- Develop robust back-end capabilities using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Next.js, SOLRExtend Sitecore with custom services and content-driven app development
- Support CMS architecture, templates, datasources and publishing
- Advance headless delivery with JSS, Next.js and Node.js in collaboration with front-end
- Build and support APIs, integrations, and components for content delivery
- Support search, performance, and multi-site needs in a large Sitecore environment
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows and containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
- Perform code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability
- Troubleshoot production and pre-production issues and drive resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align with business/platform needs
- Apply AI coding tools to improve efficiency, delivery speed, and defect reduction
- Support continuous improvement in engineering practices and delivery effectiveness
- Stay current with technologies and platform capabilities for modern digital experience engineering
Key requirements:
- 10+ years of back-end development experience
- Strong Sitecore XM, C#, .NET, and ASP.NET expertise 5+ years of Sitecore platform development experience including extensibility and enterprise-scale implementation
- Experience supporting SOLR, caching, publishing, multi-site and multilingual Sitecore environments
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, JSS and Next.jsExperience building and maintaining .NET and Next.js APIs and back-end services
- Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and technical judgment
- Experience conducting code reviews and upholding engineering quality
- Proven ability to use AI coding tools effectively without compromising quality
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with CI/CD workflows and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
