Position is for a cast technician/DME specialist in an orthopaedic setting in North Charleston, SC. The Cast Technician plays a key role in patient care by focusing on the proper fitting and application of braces, splints, and casts. This position requires a strong understanding of durable medical equipment (DME) and a patient-centered approach to ensure comfort, function, and recovery support. In addition to hands-on clinical responsibilities, the specialist will also coordinate with insurance companies to obtain prior authorizations before dispensing equipment, ensuring smooth and compliant delivery of care.
