It's time to look at Taylor.Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial & General Maintenance Worker in our North Mankato-MN facility to maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall facility upkeep. This position is responsible for routine cleaning, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe and professional environment.Work Authorization:To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates mustbe authorized towork in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.Your Shift:1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pmMay require evenings, weekends, or on-call hoursYour Responsibilities:Janitorial Duties:Perform daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floorsEmpty trash and recycling containersClean and sanitize restrooms and replenish suppliesDust furniture, fixtures, and equipmentClean windows, mirrors, and glass surfacesMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is neededGeneral Maintenance Duties:Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairsReplace light bulbs, filters, and ceiling tilesAssist with HVAC filter changes and basic system checksConduct routine facility inspections and/or identify repair needsRepair doors, locks, handles, and other hardwarePaint and patch walls as neededSet up and break down equipment or furniture for meetings and eventsAssist with snow removal and grounds maintenance (if applicable)Assist as backup for warehouse activity following forklift certificationYou Must Have:Previous janitorial or maintenance experience preferredBasic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building systemsAbility to safely use cleaning chemicals and maintenance toolsStrong attention to detailAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to work in an environment that requires indoor and occasional outdoor workComfortability with exposure to cleaning chemicals and maintenance equipmentAbility to climb ladders and use hand toolsRequirements within this Position: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facility, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and liftingRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16-$18. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
