Automotive Technician

Service First Auto Repair is looking for motivated experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team. We are a family owned and operated shop with 28 years in business.. We work on all makes and models, and on a wide variety of repairs. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: - Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning in a timely manner. - Conducting general automotive repairs and maintenance - Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy. - Communicate with Service Advisors and/or Management - Follow schematics and technical specifications to ensure accurate repairs - Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete tasks - Road test vehicles when required. - Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer, as well as ensuring customers vehicle is kept clean. -Ensure required documentation is complete and accurate. -Ensure that workspace is kept clean and equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored properly. Qualifications: - 3+ years experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic - Diagnostic Ability - Troubleshooting skills - Proficient in using hand tools and specialized equipment - Commitment to quality - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and customer service skills -Valid/Clean driver's license -Personal set of tools Benefits: -Great pay -Paid Holidys -Paid Vacation -No weekends Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
