Tax Preparer

Position Summary Niehaus Tax Services, LLC is seeking an experienced individual income tax preparer starting in the 2024 tax season. Our office on the west side of Cincinnati completes approximately 1,000 income tax returns for individuals each year. Clients drop off or mail in their tax forms. The Enrolled Agent who prepares many of the tax returns is reducing his hours, and we are seeking additional help. The position will be for approximately 25-40 hours per week from early February through mid-April. The hired individual would work as an independent contractor, and will earn a percentage of billings. Minimum Qualifications · At least 2 years of experience preparing individual income tax returns · Good communication skills · Highly organized and reliable · Demeanor that is both personable and professional · Experience with Lacerte tax preparation software is a plus Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
