Edgewood Country Club | Charleston, WV Part-Time / Full-Time Edgewood Country Club is seeking friendly, professional, and service-oriented Restaurant Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. This role provides attentive dining service to members and guests in a refined country club setting and is key to delivering an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, personable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and polished atmosphere. Position Summary Restaurant Servers are responsible for greeting members and guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, maintaining dining room standards, and ensuring each guest receives prompt, attentive, and professional service. Servers work closely with the kitchen, bar, and management teams to deliver a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Key ResponsibilitiesGreet members and guests in a warm, courteous, and professional mannerTake food and beverage orders accurately and efficientlyServe food, beverages, and desserts according to club service standardsRespond knowledgeably to questions about menu items, daily features, and beverage offeringsMaintain working knowledge of current menus, specials, and club offeringsMonitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requestsClear plates, glassware, and silverware in a timely and professional mannerAssist with table setup, resetting, and overall dining room cleanlinessCommunicate clearly and professionally with kitchen, bar, and management staffAccurately process member charges and payments as neededFollow all food safety, sanitation, and service proceduresComplete side work, stocking, and closing duties as assignedMaintain a neat, polished, and professional appearance at all times QualificationsPrior restaurant, country club, or hospitality experience preferred, but not requiredStrong customer service and communication skillsFriendly, positive, and professional demeanorDependable, punctual, and team-orientedAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry trays, plates, glassware, and dining supplies as requiredAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysWillingness to learn menu knowledge and club service standards Schedule & Employment Type This position may be part-time or full-time based on availability and business needs. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred.
