This is a hands-on, high-skill programming role focused on creating, validating, and optimizing CNC programs for large, complex parts using advanced 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineering, machining, and quality teams to ensure precision, repeatability, and efficiency across aerospace programs supporting space, defense, and advanced aerospace applications. This role is not a machine operator or “button-pushing” position—it requires full ownership of CNC programs from development through production release.What You’ll DoCreate CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining operationsDevelop optimized toolpaths for aluminum and hard-metal aerospace componentsProgram and simulate machining operations using CATIA V5 and VericutDesign tooling and fixtures as required to support complex machiningBuild detailed setup sheets and machining documentationValidate and release CNC programs to productionTroubleshoot and optimize programs to improve cycle time, quality, and efficiencyCollaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to meet tight tolerancesSupport root cause and corrective action activities related to machining issuesMaintain accurate datasets, drawings, and setup documentationProvide programming support for large, complex parts and multi-axis machinesWhat You Bring5+ years of CNC programming experienceStrong proficiency in CATIA V5 (approximately 5+ years)Vericut experience (required; non-negotiable)Hands-on experience programming multi-axis CNC machinesAbility to program aluminum and hard-metal aerospace componentsStrong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and surface finish requirementsComfortable owning programs end-to-end in a fast-paced aerospace environmentPreferred QualificationsAerospace manufacturing experienceExperience with Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Makino, or Siemens controlsFamiliarity xaygatp with Esprit (legacy support only; not required)Associate degree, technical certification, or engineering backgroundExperience programming large parts (machines up to ~30 feet)What You GetCompetitive hourly rate with overtime eligibilityAnnual profit-sharing bonusMileage reimbursement for travel between Tulsa and ClaremoreCompany-provided laptop and programming toolsOpportunity to work on space, defense, and classified aerospace programsExposure to large, complex, high-visibility parts few shops can handlePerformance-driven culture that rewards high-impact contributorsModern machines and advanced manufacturing capabilitiesLong-term growth potential with increasing compensation for top performers
