Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions using techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific muscle issues and pain points. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies or stretches for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment details, client responses, and progress notes. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols. Stay current with industry trends, new massage techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance service quality. Requirements Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state or local regulations. Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that foster trust and comfort. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities used for pain management. Experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically.
