The role involves designing, developing, and integrating networking features for home and enterprise gateway products. Key Responsibilities:Design and develop software for gateway and extender products Implement features such as Parental Control, firewall/iptables, DHCP, SNMP, TR-069/TR-181 Debug and troubleshoot issues in embedded Linux (kernel & user space) Collaborate with cross-functional teams and chipset vendors Optimize system performance and resolve customer-reported issues Participate in code reviews, unit testing (GTest/GMock), and CI/CD processes Required Skills:3+ years of experience in Embedded C/C++ development Strong knowledge of RDK-B / OpenWRT / prplOS architecture Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux and system debugging Solid understanding of TCP/IP stack and networking protocols (DHCP, DNS, HTTP) Experience with firewall/iptables and IPv6 technologies Familiarity with Git/Gerrit and debugging tools (gdb, Wireshark, tcpdump) Preferred Skills:Knowledge of Wi-Fi (802.11n/ac/ax) and broadband technologies (DOCSIS, MoCA) Experience with TR-069/TR-181, SNMP, and remote management Exposure to chipset SDKs (Broadcom, Qualcomm) Understanding of network security protocols (WPA3, SSL/TLS) Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (Python/Shell) Additional Details:Location: California (100% Onsite) Interview Process: Background Check & Meet-and-Greet (Mandatory)
