Labor Employment Associate
A leading global, Am Law 100, law firm is seeking a lateral Employment Associate to join its offices in New York, NY and/or Short Hills, NJ. This partnership-track position the opportunity to work on complex employment matters, combining litigation, advisory, and transactional work in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.Responsibilities:Manage employment litigation, including wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination mattersConduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documentsProvide day-to-day employment law advice and counsel to clients and HR professionalsDraft and negotiate employment, separation, and related agreementsSupport employment due diligence and advise on employment aspects of corporate transactionsQualifications:JD and admission to the New York and/or New Jersey Bar3–6 years of labor and employment law experience (litigation and advisory)Strong knowledge of federal and state employment lawsExcellent legal writing, analytical, and research skillsBenefits:Exposure to high-profile, complex legal matterReal opportunities for professional growth and career advancementCollaborative and supportive work environmentBase salary range of $260,000 – $390,000Comprehensive benefits package (health, wellness, and more)If you are interested in this position, and you meet the requirements of the role, please click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your resume.
