The role focuses on delivering production-ready RESTful APIs and creating SDLC-compliant documentation to enable integration with enterprise IT systems.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.ExperienceMinimum 3 to 5 years relevant industry experience.Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in PythonGit source code management (branching and merge strategies)Designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIsDeveloping and supporting production software applicationsRelational databases and SQLIntegrating applications with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks)Familiarity with software development and deployment environments, including cloud technologies such as AWSDocumentation & QualityExperience authoring SDLC-compliant documentationUnderstanding of software testing methodologies, validation practices, and deployment processesAbility to create clear technical and user-facing documentationCollaboration & CommunicationExperience working within cross-functional teamsAbility to collaborate with business, scientific, and IT stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and project-tracking skills using tools such as JIRA and ConfluencePreferred QualificationsExperience supporting scientific, research, or data-driven applicationsFamiliarity with data processing workflows and enterprise application integrationExperience working within regulated/compliance-sensitive environmentsExposure to biologics, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences organizationsAssignment DeliverablesBy the completion of the assignment, the contractor will have:Delivered production-ready RESTful APIs for the platformCreated complete SDLC documentation supporting application integration activitiesUpdated project documentation and tracking artifacts (JIRA/Confluence)Transferred technical knowledge to internal stakeholders prior to completion
