Teaching Assistant for K6 or E.C.

Harnett County Schools is currently recruiting qualified Teacher Assistants. All teacher assistants for Harnett County Schools are expected to earn a CDL license and drive a school bus route. Teacher Assistants in our district are assigned to kindergarten and 1st grade classes but are also assigned to self-contained E.C. (special education) classrooms K-12. Teacher assistants currently make $2,164 a month plus bus pay, which equates to around $15 an hour. Time and a half for bus pay is given after 40 hours are worked for the week. The classroom work week is 37.5 hours.
