Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise and provide guidance to evening staff, including hosts, porters, and cafe associates.
Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork, and addressing any staff concerns or issues.
Guest Experience:
Ensure a high standard of guest service by coaching and motivating the team.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and effectively.
Shift Operations:
Oversee the evening shift's daily operations, including seating, lane assignments, and cafe service.
Monitor lane reservations and queue management to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety checks.
Implement security measures and manage emergency situations, if they arise.
Inventory and Supplies:
Monitor inventory levels of cafe supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient use and ordering as needed.
Manage inventory control to minimize waste and maximize cost-effectiveness.
Financial Accountability:
Monitor cash handling procedures and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy.
Assist with end-of-day reconciliation and reporting.
Problem Solving:
Address operational challenges and resolve issues swiftly to maintain a smooth guest experience.
Collaborate with other managers and departments to streamline operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant experience in hospitality or management is preferred.
Proven leadership experience, ideally in a hospitality or entertainment setting.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Pay: Starting at $41,000 per year
