Administrative Assistant - Finance

Internal applicants have until Monday, May 18, 2026 to apply.Description: Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer, the person must demonstrate strong critical thinking and data processing skills by providing general bookkeeping and accounting support for the Treasurer's Office. They will be expected to perform a large volume of complex secretarial tasks for various programs, including handling confidential correspondence and records, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and data processing. They will contribute to the accomplishment of School District and department goals, as well as perform other duties as requiredJob Summary: 7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, 260 days/year.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma. An acceptable score on a pre-employment skill test may be required.1 year of related successful experience or 2 years of college.Advanced office administration, accounting, data processing, and computer hardware/software systems skills substantiated by training and/or relevant work experience.Ability to lift/move supplies/equipment weighing 15 pounds.Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies, and administrative guidelines/procedures.Demonstrates evidence of appropriate literacy and numeracy skills (i.e. reading comprehension, written/oral communication, strong interpersonal skills, mathematical reason/application, etc.).Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline, and a willingness to take on challenging tasks. Reacts productively to interruptions/emerging priorities.Demonstrates proficiency in spelling, proofreading, and the correct use of grammar.Demonstrates the ability to implement administrative principles, practices, and procedures.Embodies high ethical standards/integrity.
