If you're adaptable, detail-oriented, and excited to be part of a mission-driven seasonal program, we'd love to have you on our team.Essential Functions:Deliver exemplary food service to all campers and staff.Prepare food/concessions in a timely and efficient mannerAssist in preparing healthy and nutritional meals for the children that attend our programs throughout Camp Tracy (including Day and Residential programs)Follow established standards of sanitation, safety and food preparation in all areas of the Kitchen including but not limited to following all appropriate local and state health department food safe rules and regulations.Be aware and sensitive of those children who are new to the program and take the necessary steps to ensure that they are oriented to program logistics, schedules, and rules that govern conduct and activities within the cafeteria.Be aware of allergies and/or other relevant health informationObserve camper behavior, assess appropriateness enforce appropriate safety regulations or emergency procedures, apply appropriate management techniques.Requirements:A high school education or GED equivalence if preferredA valid driver's license with a clean record is desirableFood Safety/Safe Handling Certification from an approved sourceAbility to obtain certification if not currently holding, within 6 monthsCivil Rights training is required and provided for all persons who are associated with Food ServiceExperience:1 to 3 years of experience working in food distribution and preparation1 to 3 years of customer service experienceSkills & Competencies:Ready to adapt to change quicklyTeam playerOrganizational skillsAttention to detailsAbility to multi-taskGood communication skillsAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to work independentlyCritical thinkingFlexibilityWork Schedule: Seasonal / Monday Friday.
