The center is housed under the same roof as radiation oncology, offers weekly tumor boards, and provides clinical trials including Phase 2 and 3 studies. With dedicated pharmacists for chemo education and a collaborative care team, the center delivers comprehensive cancer care to the community.Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and OncologyJob Details: • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with some weekend call coverage • Patient volume: Maximum of 17 patients per day (1 hour for new patients, 20-minute follow-ups) • EMR system: Mosiaq • Weekend call responsibilities (24-hour) to be shared with employed providers • Weekday call involves responding to RN questions about patients, addressing chemo patient concerns, and minimal ED consults • Work alongside comprehensive support team including Medical Assistants, RNs, and dedicated pharmacists • Board Certified or Board Eligible required • BLS certification required • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days • Multiple dates available throughout 2026, seeking full weekly coverage • Opportunity to participate in weekly tumor boards and clinical trials • Collaborative environment with radiation oncology and other specialties • Comfortable accommodations available at nearby hotels with MMC discountCompensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
