Partnership Tax Specialist – Direct Investment StrategiesWe’re partnering with a highly active investment management firm seeking a Partnership Tax Specialist to support the tax operations and reporting tied to the management company’s direct investment strategies. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with finance, investment, and external tax teams while gaining broad exposure across complex partnership structures and investment activity.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced investment environment and wants to be deeply involved in the operational and tax side of private investments, carried interest structures, and management company activities.What You’ll Be DoingSupport tax compliance and reporting for the management company and affiliated investment entitiesAssist with partnership allocations, K-1 coordination, and investor tax reporting processesTrack and maintain investment activity related to direct/co-investment strategies and internal investment vehiclesPartner with external tax advisors during quarterly and annual tax filingsPrepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and workpapers for partnership and entity-level reportingCoordinate with finance and investment teams on capital activity, distributions, and investment transactionsHelp improve internal processes, reporting workflows, and data management related to tax operationsParticipate in ad hoc analysis tied to new investment structures, tax planning initiatives, and special projectsWhat They’re Looking For1–4+ years of experience in partnership taxExposure to partnership structures, investment entities, or alternative asset management environments preferredStrong analytical mindset with advanced Excel and data management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teamsDetail-oriented, organized, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environmentBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build specialized experience at the intersection of partnership tax, investment operations, and direct investing while working alongside a collaborative and high-performing team.
