Job Title: Residential Assistant ManagerLocation: Queens, NYPay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hourEmployment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-PermWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a residential program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, residential experience, and a passion for supporting individuals in a structured and person-centered environment.The Residential Assistant Manager will work closely with leadership to help oversee staff, maintain quality care standards, and support smooth day-to-day operations within the residence.ScheduleOne weekend day required each weekTwo consecutive days off weekly (either Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday)Combination of day and evening shiftsNo overnight shiftsPay & Benefits$20.00 – $22.00 per hourTemp-to-perm opportunity with long-term growth potentialResponsibilitiesSupport daily operations within a residential care setting and help maintain a structured, supportive environmentProvide guidance and day-to-day oversight to direct care staff during assigned shiftsAssist with staff scheduling coverage and help address operational needs as they ariseHelp ensure residents receive consistent support with daily routines, personal goals, and overall well-beingMaintain accurate documentation and promote compliance with program standards and safety practicesPartner with leadership to support team communication, resident care planning, and service quality improvementsQualificationsHigh school diploma requiredMinimum of 1 year of related experience requiredExperience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities requiredExperience supervising staff in a residential setting preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of developmental and intellectual disabilities and familiarity with OPWDD regulations requiredStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and outside agenciesValid Tri-State driver’s license in good standing for more than one year with minimal violations required for most positionsApply TodayQualified candidates with experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are encouraged to apply.
