Burner Slab Yard

JSW Steel USA is seeking to hire a Burner to join our team! Key Responsibilities:Burn steel slabs according to required dimensions and specifications.Cut test pieces from slabs as required for quality and inspection purposes.Assist supervisors and team members to complete assigned tasks and production targets.Remove slag and clean burn edges from slab cuts as needed.Follow all work instructions, operating procedures, and safety guidelines.Report any deviations, issues, or concerns to the Slab Yard Lead.Coordinate with crane operators for safe and efficient slab movement.Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.Qualifications & Requirements:Ability to read, write, and understand English.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.Ability to follow all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.Ability to work effectively in a heavy industrial environment.Must be available to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights).This position operates in a heavy industrial steel mill environment and may involve exposure to heat, dust, noise, and moving equipment.
