Flooring Installer
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and a strong background in construction. This role involves installing various types of flooring, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and providing excellent customer service on every project. The Flooring Installer will work closely with clients and other team members to deliver outstanding results.
Responsibilities
Install a variety of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation requirements.
Prepare surfaces for flooring installation by performing tasks such as buffing, drywall repair, and floor care.
Assess job sites for potential water damage restoration needs and provide recommendations as necessary.
Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines, expectations, and any necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
Proven experience in the restoration industry or related construction field.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques is preferred.
Familiarity with buffing equipment and floor care practices.
Strong carpentry skills are a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Pay: $17.71 - $25.00 per hour
