The resulting creation of wealth will grow opportunities for all.Duties and Responsibilities:Takes orders from guests and ServersMaintains complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, specials and mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinksMaintains a complete awareness of cocktail and drink recipes and production methodsMaintains a complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnish for each drinkMaintains knowledgeable of different types of alcoholic beverages and their methods of productionInspects cleanliness and condition of assigned stations and associated public space and rectifies any deficienciesGreets guests and takes orders utilizing suggestive selling and up-selling techniquesUtilizes Call Order procedures when preparing orders for ServersContinuously maintains cleanliness and organization of bars, bottle displays, coolers and station equipmentReplaces ashtrays with two (2) cigarette butts, utilizing the “capping” methodOther duties & responsibilities as assignedJob Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employmentMust be twenty-one (21) years of age or olderOne (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience- requiredOR six (6) months’ experience within the Beverage Department at WCH- requiredWillingness and ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of fifty (50) poundsDemonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing, and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formatsMust successfully pass job interview, including a guest service auditionMust successfully complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service, and TIPS trainingMust successfully complete ServeSafe Sanitation trainingWilling and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidaysWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredMust have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this positionMust have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environmentNATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMESComplaints about the recruitment or selection process for employment should be directed in writing to office of the President and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality.
