Job TitleLocum Tenens Hematology/Medical Oncologist - HawaiiDescriptionWe are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Medical Oncologist for locum tenens coverage at Queen's North Hawaii Community Hospital. This role provides continuity of care for oncology patients and is ideal for providers interested in a 3-6 month on-island assignment. The position is full-time during the assignment, with no on-call requirements.About the FacilityCommunity Hospital is a 35-bed rural hospital located in Waimea (Kamuela), on the northern side of Hawaii Island. The Cancer Center/Hematology-Oncology Clinic is part of the hospital campus and is staffed by:1 APRN2 RNs2 Medical Assistants1 Front Office staffThe clinic uses Epic (CareLink) EMR. Waimea offers a cooler high-elevation climate, gorgeous beaches just 15 minutes away, local grocery stores, restaurants, and farmers markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays.IMLC Eligibility: Hawaii participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC), which allows physicians licensed in participating states to obtain a Hawaii license more quickly.
