Program Security Representative I

Location: Chantilly, VASecurity Clearance: Active TS/SCI [Required] (Must be able to obtain a CI Poly)Job Type: Full-TimeTarget Salary Range*: $122,000 - $132,000This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salaryPosition OverviewThe Program Security Representative provides multi-discipline security support for one or more of the customer’s Special Access Programs (SAPs). The position provides day-to-day multi-discipline analysis and security support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and SAP activities.Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Operations and ComplianceEnsure strict adherence to the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data in support of U.S. military operations.Provide day-to-day security support, including continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and recommend improvements to security policies, procedures, and systems.Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities.Ensure timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff.Operations SecurityAssist in developing, implementing, and training the Operations Security program.Facility Security and ComplianceAssist in providing contractor and subordinate facility assistance and oversight.Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews, and facility close-outs.Monitor, report, and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.Security Briefings and AwarenessBrief personnel at all levels, including government and senior civilian service personnel, on a variety of security-related topics.Coordinate with SAP security personnel to ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the curriculum for the SAP security education and awareness program.Loss and Compromise InvestigationsConduct and document explorations of any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified and/or sensitive information.Conduct preliminary inquiries and generate damage assessments resulting from the loss of classified information.QualificationsClearanceTS/SCI clearance [Required].Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly [Required].EducationBachelor’s degree or four years of additional relevant experience in lieu of degree [Required].Experience5–7 years of related experience [Required].SAP experience [Required].Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts toward three years of experience.
