Role Type: Full-TimePeople Management Responsibilities: YESSenior Manager, Sales Planning & Inventory AnalyticsRole OverviewThe Senior Manager of Sales Planning & Inventory Analytics will lead the development of an input-driven sales forecasting capability that aligns closely with Demand Planning. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory deployment across all SKUs and Routes-to-Market (RTM), including PBNA, Direct, and Legacy channels. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical expertise with cross-functional leadership to drive forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field (MBA preferred)7-10+ years of experience in sales planning, demand planning, or supply chain analyticsProven experience forecasting promotions, new product launches, or LTOsStrong experience with forecasting models, data analytics, and planning systemsAdvanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsKey CompetenciesExpertise in forecasting volatile and short lifecycle products (LTOs) and permanent evergreen SKUsStrategic thinking with strong analytical rigorData-driven decision-makingCross-functional leadership and influenceProcess optimization and continuous improvementAbility to translate complex data into clear business insightsResponsibilitiesSales Forecasting & PlanningBuild and implement an input-driven sales forecasting model that integrates with demand planning processesLead forecasting strategy for LTOs, incorporating promotional plans, historical analogs, and market inputsEnsure alignment between sales forecasts and inventory deployment strategies across all RTMsContinuously refine forecasting methodologies to improve accuracy, especially for short lifecycle and high-variability LTO productsLTO Forecasting & Launch ExcellenceDevelop forecasting frameworks tailored to LTOs, including pre-launch assumptions, scenario planning, and post-launch trackingPartner with Marketing and Sales to translate promotional calendars and campaign plans into actionable forecastsMonitor in-market LTO performance and rapidly adjust forecasts and inventory allocationsBuild a library of historical LTO performance and analogs to improve future forecast accuracyData & Model DevelopmentEstablish planning hierarchies, levels, and key input drivers for forecasting modelsCleanse, validate, and structure historical sales data to support robust modeling, including LTO-specific datasetsDevelop and maintain scalable sales planning models leveraging advanced analyticsInventory AnalyticsTranslate sales forecasts into actionable inventory plans to optimize product availability and minimize stock imbalancesEnsure effective inventory positioning for LTO launches to balance service levels and obsolescence riskPartner with supply chain and demand planning teams to ensure efficient allocation across the networkCross-Functional CollaborationLead a monthly planning cadence to gather timely inputs from Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and FinanceDeliver clear, actionable forecasts and insights to stakeholders to support decision-makingAct as a key liaison between Sales Planning, Demand Planning, and Marketing for LTO alignmentProcess & Performance ManagementEstablish KPIs to track forecast accuracy, including specific metrics for LTO performance (e.g., launch accuracy, sell-through rates)Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and governanceStandardize reporting frameworks for both base business and LTO forecastsBenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Long- and short-term disability Life insurance 10 vacation days per year (subject to accrual policy) 11 company-paid holidays 401(k) with company match Identity theft and legal services The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location.
