Construction Superintendent - Owner/Developer
We are partnered with a privately held real estate investment and development firm with a national platform focused on large-scale, mixed-use, and hospitality-driven projects. With a strong track record of executing complex urban developments, currently leading the development of a transformative mixed-use project in the heart of downtown Orlando.This project is a premier, large-scale development featuring a high-rise residential tower delivering a best-in-class live, stay, and experience environment in one of Florida’s fastest-growing urban markets.We are seeking a Superintendent with a strong foundation in field operations to help lead the execution of a high-rise residential project in downtown Orlando. This individual will play a critical role in bridging field execution with project management, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.This is a highly visible role working directly with ownership, consultants, and the general contractor on a complex, vertical construction project.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day construction activities from preconstruction through completion for a high-rise residential and hotel developmentAct as a key liaison between ownership, general contractor, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsLeverage prior field/Superintendent experience to ensure constructability, sequencing, and on-site execution align with project goalsMonitor project schedule, budget, and cost controls; proactively identify and mitigate risksLead coordination meetings, drive accountability, and maintain project momentumReview RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applicationsEnsure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and local building regulationsSupport procurement strategy and subcontractor selection in partnership with the GC and ownership teamQualifications7–12+ years of construction experience, with prior experience as a Superintendent strongly preferredProven experience delivering high-rise residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projectsStrong understanding of ground-up construction, particularly vertical high-rise developmentExperience working in an owner’s rep or developer-facing role is a plusAbility to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and leadership skillsRequirementsBased in or willing to relocate to the Orlando, FL areaStrong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and cost management
