This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative environment, enjoys both strategy and execution, and is excited to shape the public presence of a contemporary architecture studio.About The RoleYou will lead MAKE’s marketing, PR, outreach, and business development efforts. Working closely with firm leadership, you’ll help position MAKE in the Los Angeles design community, communicate our story, and build relationships with clients, partners, and collaborators.This is a hands-on role with room to grow, offering the opportunity to influence strategy while also driving day-to-day initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Brand DevelopmentDevelop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with MAKE’s goalsMaintain and update marketing collateral, project sheets, proposals, and presentationsManage MAKE’s website content, project portfolio, and case studiesCoordinate photography, videography, and other visual assetsBusiness DevelopmentResearch and track potential clients, partners, and project opportunitiesSupport leadership in preparing qualifications packages (SOQs), RFP/RFQ responses, and pitch materialsMaintain CRM or lead-tracking systems to support pipeline visibilityAssist with networking efforts, industry events, and relationship-building activitiesPublic Relations & CommunicationsDraft press releases, award submissions, and announcementsCoordinate with media outlets, industry publications, and local organizationsManage email newsletters and firm-wide communicationsSocial Media & Digital PresencePlan, create, and schedule content across MAKE’s social media platformsMonitor engagement, track analytics, and adjust strategy to improve reach and visibilityDevelop campaigns that highlight project milestones, firm culture, and thought leadershipCommunity & OutreachSupport participation in Los Angeles–based events, panels, and community initiativesHelp organize firm-hosted events, open houses, and presentationsQualifications3-10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development (AEC experience preferred)Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skillsProficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design toolsFamiliarity with CRM platforms and social media management toolsAbility to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independentlyInterest in architecture, design, and the Los Angeles built environmentWhat MAKE OffersOpportunity to shape the marketing direction of a design-focused LA firmCollaborative, supportive studio environmentExposure to all aspects of architectural practice and project developmentCompetitive compensation and benefit$70,000 - $100,000 commensurate to experience and qualificationsPlease submit your qualifications package via email to hr@makearch.com
