Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements. Seneca Foods in Glencoe MN is currently seeking Can Supply Foreperson to join our team. Responsibilities: Responsible for the can supply during production (i.e. full can, empty can, palletizers, and related equipment.) Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment Maintains records, logs and cost control of assigned equipment Accurate and timely record keeping Strives to uphold the allotted budget for repair and installation goals Assisting labeling and shipping departments as needed Ensures that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and safety rules/ regulations are being followed and enforced Employee relations/supervision and training of seasonal staff in work area Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Two-year college degree and/ or equivalent mechanical/ repair experience preferred Must be able to sit, stand, push, pull, twist, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Bilingual in Spanish and English helpful Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment Ability to lead and train personnel Seneca Foods Corporation is committed to providing equal opportunity for all, through a positive and continuing affirmative action program.
