BHN is currently seeking a Substitute Teacher’s Aide to join our Quaboag Children Center, supporting children ages 2 months to 5 years old with quality care and early education.What We OfferComprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement matchGenerous paid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and career advancementOngoing training and professional development to maintain EEC qualificationsA collaborative and mission-driven environmentRecognition as both a Certified Great Place to Work and one of Massachusetts’ Top 10 EmployersWhat You’ll DoAs a Substitute Teacher’s Aide, you will support classroom teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.Assist teachers in implementing EEC-approved curriculum and daily schedulesMaintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom environment in line with licensing requirementsCommunicate observations and relevant information about children to teachers and the Center DirectorFollow EEC policies and procedures for safety, behavior management, and special needsProtect confidentiality of children, families, and staffSupport children in daily activities including structured lessons, free play, meals, rest, and outdoor playParticipate in professional development and maintain training hours required for EEC qualificationsWho You AreHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMust meet EEC qualifications for Teacher’s Aide/Assistant Group LeaderAbility to obtain (within 3 months) or maintain CPR, First Aid, and Food Health Safety certificationsFlexible and willing to work across classrooms and with children of varying agesStrong interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and staff in a dynamic environmentCommitment to cultural competence and inclusivityAbility to adapt teaching style and curriculum to meet the needs of children in careAbout Quaboag Children CenterThe Kidstop Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs are licensed and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
