Job Title: Materials CoordinatorDuration: 10+ MonthsLocation: Denville, NJ 07834Shift: M-F 7am-3:30pmPay Rate: $20/hourJob DescriptionKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, ValuePull production orders and deliver raw material throughout the facility to work cells for manufacturingMaintain inventory with weekly/monthly cycle counts, daily stockroom documents and transactionsIssue material to work orders, complete transactions for shipments, invoicing, and material movement in ERP systemProcess quality concerns to return material to suppliers, scrap or move back to productionShipping and Receiving: Deliver material to ship along with proper paperwork for returns; identify electronic and mechanical assemblies, verify items, count to purchase orders and accurately record and enter data in ERP; pack, weigh, address and seal boxes containing electro-mechanical assemblies and optical components and their sub-assembliesCoordinate with procurement to properly process subcontract work orders to send material outOperate with a safety-first mindsetREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent; basic math aptitudeComputer skills, ability to work in ERP system preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Flexible, responsive and organizedPrioritize and work effectively at a variety of demanding tasks and schedules.Collaborative team player with a conviction for achievement and problem-solvingBring your passion and commitment to Special Optics, where we are curious, collaborative, persistent, and confident, where safety and quality guide every step of our journey.
